I am Lazarus Lazaridis and I am a developer.

I have studied Computer Science at Athens University of Economics and Business and I live in Athens, Greece.

I usually code in Ruby especially when it's on Rails but I also speak Java, Go, bash & C#.

I love open source and I like writing tutorials and creating tools and utilities.

I write my posts thinking how I would prefer to have the information in order to understand what is going on. That does not work for everybody so at the end of each post you will find a GitHub issue for feedback/suggestions/typos etc. I'm grateful for your feedback.

Many of my weekends start with

mkdir best_idea_ever

and end with

sudo rm -rf ./best_idea_ever

I love animals, cats are my favorite, most of my posts end with a cat photo.

Most of the posts of this blog were written with this on the side. Unfortunately, she is not with me anymore.
